We accept payments through Pay Now and Afterpay. Pay Now allows you to pay instantly for your purchases by credit or debit card on Trade Me. Afterpay allows you to buy today and pay it off in four equal fortnightly interest-free payments.

We courier all items by NZ post. NZ Post has recently increased its rates so our shipping rates are now;

North Island $12.00 South Island $22.00

In some cases, it is not reasonable to pack in one parcel, e.g. if the order contains a long rod and some heavy smaller items, then we will, at our discretion, pack in multiple parcels to ensure a safe packaging for your ordered goods.

We target to ship orders on same day as order is received, however we can get a 3-5 days delay if, in some rare case, we may run low on stock for some popular items. We pride ourselves to pack goods well and damaged goods is very rare.

Screaming Reels stand behind the products we sell, and we have a fair return policy. We want you to feel safe when you buy at Screaming Reels and we want you to feel confident that we will support you should there be any issues.

FAULTY GOODS

Unless stated otherwise, all items carry a 12-month warranty (some products have longer warranties).

Faulty goods can be returned in person to the Screaming Reels store or send them with a covering letter containing your contact details and any relevant information. Send to:

We will assess the received goods and contact you to discuss the options. Normally, as a first step, we will repair or replace the goods. Goods that are deemed faulty and falls within the warranty and cannot be repaired or replaced will be refunded to the purchase price.

UNWANTED GOODS

Unused and still sell-able goods, complete in their original packaging may, be returned to us for a full refund for up to 1 month after purchase, excluding:

1. Electronics which may only be returned 7 days after purchase, and
2. Any item that was specially ordered or modified to meet your specifications, e.g. a reel spooled with line of your choice.
3. Any books, charts, videos, cd’s, cut length of line, rigging, netting etc.

Receipts must be provided.

Any refunds of Unwanted Goods will be made using Gift Cards and will exclude the cost of freight.

Replacement goods will be sent to you freight free.

The above does NOT alter or reduce your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. It is an additional benefit to Screaming Reels customers.

Acknowledgement of your order or acceptance by Screaming Reels of payment for your order does not constitute acceptance of your order. Screaming Reels’s acceptance of an order does not take place until the order is dispatched to you.

Where possible your order will be sent in one consignment. However, Screaming Reels may send your order in multiple shipments.

The risk of any loss of, or damage to, any product will pass to you on delivery. Screaming Reels may, in its entire and unfettered discretion, refuse an order. Refusal may, for example, result from:

• The product ordered being unavailable, or
• Fraudulent activity flags being activated, or
• The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and any matters or disputes connected with this store will be governed by New Zealand law and will be dealt with in New Zealand courts.

Screaming Reels was purchased by Garry and Merrin Townley on the 19th of September 2022. We are committed to providing the same service as the previous owner. Returning customers please note that the bank account for Screaming Reels has changed.
