revolutionary RTS game. It put you in the role of commander of either the Imperial army or the Freedom fighters in a campaign to underminde and eventualy destroy the opposing force.

This game has many features still lacking from today's RTS games. Things like different AI paterns that allowed you to simply give a unit the order "Search and Destroy" and it would drive off towards the enemies last know location in search for something to kill. Or a "explore" mode which let your units do all the tedious map exploring for you. All this coupled with a great campaign, good variety of multiplayer maps and a mission/campaign editor made it a landmark RTS. If only it hadn't been released around the same time as Total Annhilation....
