4AGZE Turbo
Description
Beautifully built 4AGZE Turbo motor ready for its next transplant.
4AGZE head gives slightly lower compression that 4AGE so better for turbo charging. 16 v head is port and polished using custom Kelford cams. Kelford beehive springs and retainers. Tomei adjustable cam gears and clear cam cover. ARP head studs and multi later steel gasket, head rebuild mods alone were $7500+. MRP intake manifold + 70mm throttle body. MRP exhaust manifold - chrome ceramic coated to reduce engine bay temperature. Garret GT28 turbo modified by Turbo Care to suit this power output. Genuine Tial wastegate. Coil over plug conversion. 890cc injectors and high pressure lines. Custom made plenum chamber currently suits front wheel drive or mid engine set up. All work has been carried out by TMS Racing in Kapiti - see their website. Bottom end is standard but had a fresh rebuild 10k ago. Was tested by TMS at 290 KWS (388bhp) at the wheels. Flywheel BHP would be well over 400 with the right fuel set up.
Price is reasonably firm as I could still be persuaded to find a new donor car of special interest. I went for a test drive before buying this engine a year ago and I can honestly say that it was an INSANE experience.
