2010 Audi Q7 V12 Tdi Quattro
Description
V12 TDI - 500hp 1000nm torque. 7 seats. Numbers that supersede the later model SQ7 and torque similar to a new performance EV. Vastly more economical than a petrol of similar performance levels while also naturally being a mammoth tow car. In Europe there are a handful of these with the gearbox saving factory tune removed pushing 620hp and 1200nm of torque.. this model is a solid stock example however!
Reluctant sale, new born and living expenses mean having 3 cars is a bit of a luxury I shall have to do without for a while!
One of fifty RHD versions ever made (and only , this was Audi's marketing in the 2010's gone wild: pre-dieselgate; an ultra premium, peak performance diesel. Engine originally intended to go into the Audi R8 (alas engine and the transmission didnt fit), it made it to the Q7 as a once in a lifetime combo of 7 seats, road munching cruiser with 12 cylinders and good economy.
Features the standard Carbon Ceramic Brake discs, which are unbelievably good. Have about 100-150,000km of life left and new brake pads fitted. Also features the standard V12 wide body kit and Audi RS oval exhaust vents.. and a unique V12 Diesel exhaust note!
Serviced by Audi dealer all the way to 337k km, with docs to show and recalls complete. Currently at 361k km as we drive it daily.
In my ownership I've done a bunch of preemptive and required servicing to the tune around of around $5000 as I intended to keep it till new baby costs kinda crashed my reality!
- Two new Hitachi MAF sensors
- Two EGR Delay Valves
- Pierburg EGR Valve (OEM)
- Front brake pads replaced with Ceramic safe Audi OEM parts
- Front Sway bar bushings & droplinks
- Both PCV's replaced
- New Brake accumulator (brake "bomb")
- Full service, all filters (oil, cabin, twin air intakes) replaced.
- Full diesel DPF and intake clear (3cans of Liquimoli DPF intake cleaner)
- Tow bar cover - Audi original tow Bar included
- Added Invere Audi MMI adapter to get steering wheel media controls for Bluetooth devices, proper OEM integrated.
