BMW R60/5 1972

BMW R60/5 in very good condition. Has been partnered with a European built sidecar. Bike was imported from Canada as new and I am about the 4th owner. The mileage is in miles not km. The sidecar has been expertly fitted and is solid fixed at 4 points - no flexing with ball joints. The bike has been stripped down a few thousand miles ago and everything was checked and found in great condition - some gaskets were replaced. My brother fitted it with Dell Orto Italian carberettors to give it some extra zip. I have had it connected to a car battery housed in the sidecar as these motors take some turning over. Starts first press on the starter. This is a 4 speed bike and pulls the sidecar with ease. I have done 2 recent rallies and cruise comfortably at 55mph. The sidecar is comfortable and sized for the bike. It is sprung and braked. A great little bike rapidly increasing in rarity and value coupled with a great little sidecar.
