BMW 318is Motorsport 1998

NZ New 1998 318is Motorsport.

This is the 1.8L four cylinder with a factory 5 speed manual transmission. This is not a base model 3 series, it is full of factory options. It has not been modified in any way and has had mature owners for its entire life.

This old girl has been part of our family for the last 6 months. Unfortunately due to a family member passing away we no longer use mellow yellow and she needs a new home. The previous owners owned her for over 10 years.

It has a current VTNZ Warrant of Fitness, only requiring an exhaust leak and a ball joint remedied to pass with no other comments (700km ago). Currently has three months registration.

In our ownership it has had a bit of money spent on maintenance. She starts first pop and drives nicely for an older car, I wouldn't hesitate in driving to Auckland tomorrow. Approx 500kms ago she had a full service, a new fuel filter and new spark plugs. The tires are near new all round on staggered wheels (paint needs some love).

The interior is fully optioned, leather seats with M stitching and fully functional sunroof with only the usual wear and tear. None of the usual door cards lifting or headlining sagging found in most E36s. All of the electronics work as they should and there are no warning lights showing on the dash which these cars commonly suffer from.

She has the full motorsport bodykit, working fog lights and the face lift tail lights which are harder to come by. Overall she is very straight with only the odd bump but sadly the Dakar Yellow is showing its age. With a cut and polish she should come up well but I wanted to show the condition accurately.

Comes with original tool kit, some original service history and manuals.

Inspection is welcome but we are selling on an as is where is basis because I am assuming being manual a young bloke will likely purchase and lower it.
