Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) is working with a well-established construction business is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Structures Division in Auckland. This is a senior role suited to a highly capable QS or an Engineer looking to transition into a Quantity Surveying position within the concrete structures sector.

The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Structures, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial management of concrete structures projects ranging from $1m to $20m. You will operate with a high level of autonomy and work closely with Project Managers to support successful project delivery. Some travel may be required depending on project locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial and financial administration of structures projects
• Operating independently with minimal oversight across multiple projects
• Working closely with Project Managers on EOTs, contractual notifications and claims
• Contract administration and risk management across head contracts and subcontracts
• Involvement in estimating and pricing as required
• Ensuring strong commercial governance and reporting

About You

• Minimum 15 years' experience in Quantity Surveying or a related engineering background
• At least 5 years' experience working in New Zealand
• Strong knowledge of NZS 3910, 3915 and 3916 contracts
• Solid understanding of SA2017 Subcontract Conditions
• Experience delivering concrete or structural projects preferred
• Commercially astute, detail-focused, and confident operating at senior level
