Graduate Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedGraduate Quantity Surveyorto join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in the civil construction industry and gain hands-on experience across a range of projects.

Working closely with senior commercial and project staff, you will assist with cost control, contract administration, procurement, valuations, and financial reporting to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
• Support the measurement and valuation of works completed
• Help prepare progress claims, variations, and final accounts
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, comparisons, and administration
• Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation
• Monitor project costs and assist with reporting on financial performance
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contract terms
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Assist with identifying cost risks and opportunities on projects
• Carry out general commercial and administrative tasks as required

Skills and Experience

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced construction environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full driver licence preferred
