Role description: *You will oversee assigning duties, monitoring the progress of a project, keeping it on track from a time and budget standpoint and working on the tools. *You will need to assign workers to the correct projects based on their skill set and knowledge. This is a supervisor working on the tools in the civil and commercial sector position.
Responsibilities will include: *Provide onsite training as required. *Run toolbox and pre-start meetings. *Complete internal audits as required. *Arrange materials for job sites. *Read and work off plans. *Communicate with clients and engineers on site. *Assign duties to staff. *Working on the tools.
The following is essential to be successful in this role:
*At least 3 years’ experience as a Foreman working with concrete, concrete remediation and waterproofing products in the Civil and Commercial sector. *Seismic strengthening expertise. *Knowledge and practical experience of crack injection application. *Evidence of skills to undertake epoxy screeds. *Solid plastering ability to a high standard. *Possess strong carpentry skills. *Knowledge of health and safety standards within New Zealand. *Reinforcing bar bending and installation experience is an advantage. *Good written and verbal communication skills. *New Zealand full driver's license essential.
This will be a full-time permanent position with minimum 40 hours per week. Competitive renumeration based on your skills and experience $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
