Skilled and reliable Foreman required for busy construction company based near Christchurch.
Pidgeon Contracting Ltd is a local, family owned and operated outfit. Established in 1983, over the past 40 years we have cemented ourselves as one of the top contracting providers throughout the Canterbury region.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the following:-
- Running day-to-day site operations, hands on worker leading the team.
- Experienced with a wide range of construction machinery and its operation.
- Understands plans/specifications for civil sites and delivers work on time and within budget.
- Excellent team player who displays strong leadership skills, but will work alongside the rest of the team to meet deadlines and can communicate well with all staff.
- Reports site progress to Management.
- Follow company protocols with regards to Health and Safety.
- Ensure equipment is clean and maintained for optimal performance.
