OneStaff Tauranga is currently seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join a well-established fabrication workshop in Tauranga. This is a great role for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants long-term stability in the metal fabrication industry.
About the Role
You will be operating both CNC and manual press brake machinery to bend, fold and shape sheet metal and plate to exact specifications. Day-to-day work includes:
Setting up and operating CNC press brake machines
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Selecting tooling and inputting machine settings
Carrying out precise folds and quality checks
General workshop duties and machine maintenance
Working safely and efficiently within a team environment
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating a CNC press brake (or similar metal-forming equipment)
Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications
Strong attention to detail and excellent workmanship
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Full NZ work rights and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
