OneStaff Tauranga - Ongoing Full-Time Role
Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for steady, full-time work in Tauranga?OneStaff is recruiting on behalf of our client in the roofing manufacturing industry, and we're looking for reliable operators to join their production team.
About the Role
You'll be operating a range of machinery used to produce roofing and cladding products, including roll-formers, cutters, and folding equipment. This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are key.
What You'll Be Doing
Operating roofing production machinery
Setting up and adjusting machines for different product runs
Monitoring production flow and minimising downtime
Completing quality checks on finished products
Supporting material handling and general factory duties
Following all health and safety procedures
Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
What We're Looking For
Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Mechanical aptitude and confidence around tools and equipment
Ability to read measurements and follow production instructions
Health & safety-focused attitude
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, punctual, and keen to work as part of a team
Preferred (but not essential):
Forklift licence
Overhead crane experience
Background in steel, metal, or roofing manufacturing
