Machinery Operators Required

We are looking for a Machinery Operator for our busy horticulture business based in the sunny Bay of Plenty. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of operating and maintaining orchard machinery.

To be considered for this position you’ll have at least a qualification at Level 4 or at least three years of work experience. You should be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will be also expected to perform tasks such as operating and maintaining our orchard machinery including tractors, completing repair work and assisting in the procurement of new machinery, completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible. You will be solely responsible for operating and maintaining orchard machinery.

• The ability to work independently and without supervision
• Ability to use a computer and basic programs like Microsoft word and excel is also beneficial.

This is a full time and permanent position offering at least 30 hours per week. We are offering a minimum payrate of $30.00 and a maximum of $35 for this position.
