Cabin Installer/Fabricator

We are looking for people with building, plumbing or general construction skills to join our family owned and operated team in Tauranga. The successful candidates will work with our existing team to install, uplift and maintain a range of portable accommodation and bathroom solutions.

Our factory, based in Tauranga, is our hub where our portable units are manufactured. With delivery and installation nationwide, there is an exciting opportunity to travel and explore our beautiful country.

If you have a full NZ driver’s license, can demonstrate practical building skills and have a passion for hands-on work with a willingness to travel extensively, then we’d love to chat with you!

Responsibilities:

Perform on-site installations/uplifts and repairs of portable units at client locations.

Collaborate with the Lead Installer and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to making work safer.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges encountered.

Maintain records of work performed, including documentation and photos.

Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional customer service.

When time allows, factory work including refurbishments.

Requirements:

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

Ability to work independently and travel extensively, often staying away from home for extended periods.

Ability to work away from home every week. This varies from day trips, one-nighters and full week.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and conditions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Confident with towing (various load sizes).
