About the Role

Were looking for a motivated Clerical Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our Clinical Coding Service. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that involves lifting and filing patient charts, so youll need to be physically fit, highly organised, and customer-focused.

Your day-to-day will be varied no two days are ever the same and youll play a vital role in keeping our records accurate, accessible, and well managed. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital between the hours of 8am -5pm.

About You

Youre known for staying calm under pressure, thinking ahead, and being the go-to team member who always gets the job done. Your previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting means you understand the importance of accuracy, discretion, and responsiveness.

Key skills and experience youll bring include:

Prior administrative experience in a health environment Physically fit enough to lift objects and walk for extended periods of time. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel intermediate level) Excellent verbal and written communication skills A positive, flexible `can-do attitude
