Operations Administrator

Located on the port this newly created role has been developed to support essential administrative, labour allocation and health and safety duties that keep the Sulphur Point Terminals & Cranes team running safely and efficiently. C3 provides labour to the container terminal, operating Straddle Cranes and Ship to Shore Cranes with a team of around 100 staff.

Reporting to the Branch Manager this role would suit someone with an administrative background, who has the capability and desire to learn about labour allocation in a 24/7 environment. We are looking for someone with good levels of computer skills in excel and word, as well as sound attention to detail and organisation skills. You would bring to the role a positive energy, with excellent communication skills, a strong team work ethic and a focus on health & safety.

This is a permanent salaried position offering 40 hours worked over 4 days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with some flexibility to work from home when required.

Primary duties for the successful candidate include;

• Payroll functions using Emplive for around 100 staff
• Labour Allocation duties over the weekend
• Ordering PPE
• Raising purchase orders via Techone
• Assist with incident investigations
• Development and upkeep of branch Safe Work Instructions (SWI's)
• Branch training records management
• General administrative tasks
