Contracts Manager | Christchurch
We're seeking an organised and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of property contracts; from conditional through to settlement. This role plays a key part in supporting the sales process and ensuring every agreement is managed accurately and efficiently.
About the Role
- Full-time, permanent position
- Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends for open days)
- Onsite role based in Christchurch CBD
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume portfolio of conditional and unconditional contracts
- Review and explain sale & purchase agreements (and loan documents where required)
- Liaise with purchasers, solicitors, mortgage brokers, and the internal sales team
- Monitor conditions and drive contracts to unconditional status
- Maintain accurate data across CRM and internal systems
- Conduct daily/weekly reconciliations and documentation checks
- Provide professional, friendly communication to all parties
- Support general office tasks as part of a collaborative team
About You
- Strong understanding of contract law OR extensive experience with property contracts
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large workloads
- Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data validation)
- CRM experience — HubSpot beneficial
- Calm, professional communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
Desirable Skills
- Experience in property development, conveyancing, real estate, or high-volume contract admin
- Knowledge of NZ settlement processes and ADLS agreements
