About the Role – Mō te Tūranga
This is a brand new role, created as part of Qestral’s continued growth. As our operations expand, we are adding this position to strengthen coordination, consistency, and follow‑through across the organisation.
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the smooth and consistent operation of the Qestral group. This role provides hands‑on operational coordination, reporting support, and administrative oversight across head office and village operations.
You will work closely with the Operations Executive Assistant and wider the operations team supporting village teams by maintaining systems, coordinating workflows, and ensuring operational tasks are followed through accurately and on time.
This role is about organisation, follow‑through, and clarity. You’ll sit at the centre of operational activity, helping ensure processes are consistent, information is accurate, and teams are supported to deliver high‑quality outcomes for residents. As a new addition to the team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how the role works and adds value across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting day‑to‑day operational coordination and administration
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of operational policies, procedures, and systems
- Acting as a central point of coordination for operational queries and follow‑ups
- Supporting village teams with operational and administrative tasks
- Monitoring workflows to ensure actions are completed on time
- Collecting, maintaining, and analysing operational data and reports
- Preparing regular summaries and overview reports for management
- Maintaining accurate records, registers, and documentation
- Supporting compliance with internal processes and external requirements
- Providing professional front‑of‑house and customer service support when required
- Assisting with office presentation, internal events, and general administrative duties
- Completing Companies Office filings and returns as required.

You bring strong communication skills and the judgement to know how to manage issues, escalate when needed, and support others effectively.
You’ll likely bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, and summaries
- Sound judgement and practical decision making skills
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- The ability to manage workflows, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively
