Summit Construction is seeking a bubbly & motivated Marketing & Administration Assistant to take the lead in driving our marketing initiatives and provide reception and general administrative support.
We are a young, dedicated team where growth is encouraged and the sky is the limit! We specialise in Architectural Renovations in Christchurch and have a unique concept-to-completion process that we are proud of. We also manage Summit Business Hub, a boutique co-working office space.

This role would suit a recent marketing graduate or someone with some hands-on marketing, digital content or social media experience who is able to jump in and hit the ground running but is also keen to learn & support the administrative aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing:
- Take the lead in executing marketing plans and content strategies
- Gather content from work sites, working alongside our construction teams
- Create, edit, and publish social media content, newsletters, and website updates
- Create & update marketing collateral
- Work directly with the Director to shape messaging and campaigns
Administration & Reception:
- Assist the Office Manager with day-to-day administrative & adhoc tasks as required
- Reception duties including answering phones and greeting clients
- Maintain a tidy, professional office and meeting rooms
- Update and maintain our CRM & project management software
- Follow up client enquiries
About You
You are:
- Confident, proactive and ready to take the lead in marketing initiatives
- Personable, reliable, and comfortable working with clients, tenants and site teams
- Creative, organised, and able to work independently
- Passionate about marketing, business support, and growing your skills
- Flexible and interested in a long-term role, learning our business thoroughly and growing with the company
Skillset
Ideally: Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Wix, Canva, Video & Editing Software, Microsoft Office Suite
Bonus: Hubspot CRM, Xero/Accounting Software, BuildXact
Highly Regarded: Exposure to/experience in the construction industry
This role will be 3-4 days 8:30am-5pm initially, with the current expectation that this position could quickly grow to full time hours as the business experiences growth. Remuneration will be in line with experience & skillset.
