Letton Kerb & Channel is a well established family business providing concrete kerb & channel and concrete placement services throughout the South Island.
With continued growth, our Administration Manager needs your support based at our office/yard in Kaiapoi West.
This is a newly created permanent part-time position for 15 hours per week (days / times to be discussed / negotiated).
Role Summary: As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will handle supplier invoices, check financial information for accuracy, data entry (Xero) and ensure that all payments to suppliers are made promptly in line with terms of trade. This position demands excellent organisational abilities, close attention to detail, and the capacity to work well with our Administration Manager.
On the Office Assistant side, you will help management and staff with routine office and administrative tasks, including supporting Health & Safety requirements.
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; willingness to seek assistance when needed.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to help out wherever necessary.
- Previous experience with Xero Accounting software and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is an advantage, though training will be provided if needed.
- Enjoyment of working within a small, supportive team in a semi-casual office setting.
