Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As our Contract Administrator based in Invercargill, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our operations and maintenance contracts.
You'll sit at the heart of the contract, ensuring administrative processes, systems, and financial workflows run smoothly and accurately. From managing purchase orders and subcontractor administration to preparing invoices, claims, and reports, your work will directly support operational teams and help meet client expectations.
You'll maintain and manage contract data systems, ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and delivered to the right people at the right time. You'll monitor work in progress (WIP), track job progress, and follow up on outstanding claims and invoices-helping keep everything on schedule and compliant.
Working closely with the Contract Manager and Senior Contract Administrator, you'll also contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes, ensuring all administrative functions are delivered to a consistently high standard.
This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and being a reliable support behind a high-performing team.

You're organised, detail-focused, and proactive, with a strong ability to keep things moving and under control.
You bring:
- Experience in administration, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or services
- Strong numerical skills and understanding of job costing principles
- Confidence managing data, systems, and reporting requirements
- Experience with invoicing, claims, or financial administration
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- A proactive approach and willingness to improve systems and processes
You're also:
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Systems-savvy with experience in data entry and database management
