Ikon Machinery is a family-owned and operated business based in Orari, Geraldine, South Canterbury. We are a progressive company importing, selling, servicing, and supporting high-quality agricultural machinery brands.
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Personal Assistant to join our close-knit team of six. This is a key support role where you will work closely with the owner and wider business to keep operations running smoothly.
Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will bring structure, follow-through, and strong organisation across a wide range of tasks. This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing local business.
Key Responsibilities *Managing emails, communications, and daily priorities *Preparing quotes, documents, and business correspondence *Coordinating import shipping and logistics *Maintaining records, systems, and general administration processes *Assisting with website updates and online listings *Supporting day-to-day business operations as required *Ensuring actions are followed through and nothing is overlooked
About You You are efficient, detail-focused, and confident using a range of computer systems. You are adaptable, able to juggle multiple priorities, and comfortable working closely with a busy, hands-on owner who is often on the move.
A proactive mindset, strong initiative, and the ability to stay one step ahead are essential for success in this role.
