Interglobal (formerly The Health), a renowned local manufacturer specialising in Dietary / Health Supplements, is actively seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our esteemed manufacturing team as Pharmaceutical Plant Operator. Become an integral part of our innovative operations at our state-of-the-art, GMP certified facility in West Auckland. We currently have vacancies for both day and evening shifts.
Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week on a full time basis. Full time $31.70-33.00 per hour
Day shift: 6:00 AM - 2:40 PM Afternoon shift: 4:40 PM - 1:00 AM

Position Summary: The Pharmaceutical Machine Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and optimization of pharmaceutical production machinery. This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently, meets regulatory standards, and supports the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities: Machine Management and Maintenance Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of pharmaceutical production machines. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with machinery to maintain consistent production flow. Production Support
Collaborate with production teams to ensure machines are operating efficiently and meeting production goals. Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Provide technical support during production runs and resolve any equipment-related challenges promptly. Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all machinery and production processes comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of machine operations, maintenance activities, and calibration logs for audit purposes. Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for improving machine performance, productivity, and efficiency. Recommend and implement upgrades or modifications to equipment to enhance production capabilities. Team Leadership and Training
Lead and mentor a team of machine operators and technicians. Provide training to staff on machine operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Health and Safety
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and address potential hazards related to machinery and equipment. Key Requirements:
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in GMP, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are highly desirable, or Minimum of 5 years of experience working with pharmaceutical production machinery. Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role is a plus.
Skills and Competencies Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical machinery and production processes. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in maintenance management software and production systems. Other Requirements
