Finance & Office Manager – Greymouth

Are you organised, adaptable, and ready for a role that’s never boring? Aratuna Freighters is looking for a Finance & Office Manager to take charge of our office and finance operations. This is a full-time position, with flexibility for either a permanent or fixed-term IEA, and you’ll be fully supported by our current Manager until November.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all office operations and keep things running smoothly
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
- Manage cashflow, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks
- Complete management P&L, balance sheets, and EOM reporting
- Prepare End-of-Year accounts for Accountants
- Ensure all IRD returns & payments are completed on time
- Maintain our freight rating system
- Assist with tender documentation
- Provide IT and software support, liaising with contractors
- Drive improvements in processes and systems
What We’re Looking For
- Strong financial management and accounting skills
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
- Advanced Excel and accounting software knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and accuracy
- Certificate or Diploma in NZ Business Accounting or similar is a plus
