The Salvation Army Reintegration Service

The Salvation Army Reintegration Service provides short term housing and other support for people reintegrating into the community following their release from prison.

This position involves the one-on-one case management of allocated clients ensuring support throughout their initial reintegration into the community. It will include working closely with Community Probations and other government and community organizations.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to lead and work in a team environment
  • Have the good personal relationship skills
  • Have previous experience in handling crises
  • Have an ability to monitor and oversight programme
  • Have a willingness to work from a bicultural perspective, having an awareness and understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi
  • Have experience in facilitating programmes that assist people toward improved wellbeing
  • Have a strong sense of social justice
  • Have a commitment to the mission and values of the Salvation Army
  • Have a current First Aid certificate
  • Have a current full drivers licence

This is a permanent role, 40 hours per week.

The salary will range from $67,337 to $71,877 gross per annum.
