Duty Manager

Big Barrel is proudly the largest Independent 100% NZ Family Owned & operated Liquor group in NZ. Big Barrel is a specialist liquor retailer formed in 2003 and has since grown to over 52 stores nationwide.

Big Barrel Enterprises Limited T/A Big Barrel Papakura, Auckland. We are looking for 2 full-time and some part-time (1-2) enthusiastic candidates with some retail experience to join our team in the following areas: -

This role includes but is not limited to: -Customer Service -Inventory control, -Managing local promotions and displays. -Store Cash-ups, -Receiving/dispatching deliveries if required. -Customer Service -Work well independently – you will need to be highly organized and self-motivated and also work well within our close-knit team -Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and desire to see the business grow with your input -Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills -Attention to detail -Empathy with our customers -Extremely clear and professional phone communication -Very customer service oriented -Enjoy a busy environment - Unflappable under pressure. -Process and systems are driven. Efficient and effective! -Upbeat personality - Definite sense of humor. -You need to be physically fit as there will be some lifting involved. -You must have a valid Duty Managers Certificate & LCQ Certificate. -Minimum 1 year of retail experience required without Duty Manager Certificate and Applicate must be willing to get Duty Manager certificate with in 3months of Joining. You must be NZ Citizen or Resident to apply for this role. Further details are to be provided to selected applicants.
