Retail & eCommerce Manager – NZ Tack Saddlery (Tauranga)
We are on the hunt for an experienced and motivated Retail & eCommerce Manager to join our tight-knit team in our Tauranga store.
We are predominantly an online business, with the majority of our orders processed through our website and shipped out daily. However, we also have customers visiting our retail store, so strong customer service, equine and horse knowledge are essential.
This role is ideal for someone with equine industry experience, retail management skills, and confidence working with inventory systems and Shopify eCommerce.
The majority of the role focuses on stock control, online store management, and day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing daily retail store and warehouse operations
- Providing knowledgeable customer service (in-store and online)
- Inventory control, stock ordering, and maintaining accuracy
- Using inventory software to manage stock levels
- Managing Shopify tasks, including product listings and updates
- Processing and coordinating online orders and dispatch
- Supporting staff and general store/warehouse organisation Skills & Experience Required
- Strong equine experience and knowledge is essential
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience
- Proven inventory management and stock control skills
- Shopify eCommerce experience (or similar platform)
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Exceptional attention to detail
Hours - Flexible for the right applicant: 4–5 days per week Monday to Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm
