Description
ButcherCuts, a busy halal-certified butcher shop in Avondale, is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team. The successful candidate will:
Cut, trim, debone, and prepare beef, lamb, chicken, and goat according to shop standards and customer orders.
Prepare specialty cuts and value-added products such as sausages and marinades.
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and halal compliance (HACCP).
Weigh, package, label, and display meat products for retail sale.
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise waste.
Provide excellent customer service and advice on cuts and cooking methods.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth, positive shop environment.
Hours: 31–45 hours per week (guaranteed minimum 31) Pay: $30–$40/hour depending on experience Shift: between 9am-6:30pm, Monday - Sunday
Base pay only; no commission or performance-based bonuses included Applicants must have at least 2 year of relevant butchery experience.
Weekend and public holiday availability is required.
