Description
We’re looking for a dedicated Storesperson to join the team at FreshChoice Lyttelton. You’ll be responsible for managing all inwards goods, checking deliveries, maintaining accurate stock flow, and ensuring products are ready for our customers.
Hours: 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday
What you’ll do:
Receive and check all inwards goods
Verify packing slips and report discrepancies
Check temperatures and follow food-safety procedures
Ensure stock is rotated correctly and stored safely
Keep bays full, tidy, and ready for filling
Work closely with the Grocery Manager and department heads
Assist with breaking down stock, rubbish removal, and end-of-day cleanup
Provide help to customers and reps when needed
What you’ll bring:
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness
- Confidence with a pallet jack
- A positive attitude and reliability
