This is a full-time leadership role combining:

• Showroom and walk-in sales
• Builder/trade account management
• Residential quoting
• Leading a team of 3+ sales staff

• 5+ years flooring or building trade experience
• Previous management experience

The role includes:

• Scheduling and coordinating flooring installations
• Managing installer workloads
• Job coordination
• Communicating with customers, builders, and installers
• Site visits as required What we’re looking for:
• Experience in flooring, construction, or trade industries
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines

Installation & Measuring Trainee

Learn a Skilled Trade in a Supportive Family Business. We are looking for a motivated Installation & Measuring Trainee to join our team and learn all aspects of flooring measurement, site checking, and installation. This is a great opportunity for someone who is practical, detail-focused, and keen to build a long-term career in the flooring or construction industry.

About the Role You will receive full training in:

• Installing all types of flooring
• Measuring residential homes and job sites accurately
• Understanding floor preparation and installation requirements
• Reading job specifications and working from site instructions
• Assisting experienced installers on-site
• Learning tools, techniques, and industry best practice
• Supporting the installation and operations team as required

This role is very hands-on and will involve working on-site, learning directly from experienced flooring installers.

What We’re Looking For We’re happy to train the right person, but you will ideally have:

• A practical, hands-on attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn a skilled trade
• Good communication skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office an advantage)
• A full NZ driver’s licence (or working towards one)
• Confidence working on residential construction sites (or willingness to learn)

Previous building or trade experience is helpful but not essential.
