Flooring Consultant - Full time
Mitre10 MEGA Timaru has a vacancy for a self-motivated consultant with experience in the flooring industry. This is a full-time position 40 hours per week with a Sunday - Thursday roster. It is a great opportunity for someone who is outgoing and can work within a team, as well as independently.
This varied and exciting role will have you working alongside our other consultants, advising, and guiding our clients through their home renovation, or building project giving specialist flooring advice.
To be successful, applicants will require the following skill set:
Sales background is recommended but not as essential as a can-do attitude.
A sound knowledge of carpet and flooring products, preparation, and installation.
Confident in working with our customers one on one, often external visits.
Attention to detail, be articulate and have the ability and skill set to understand design and drawing applications, full training will be given.
Be a Self-starter who can work within a team and on your own.
Understand the importance of time management and financial responsibility.
A warm and approachable person who enjoys working with and for people. An ability to provide an exceptional experience to all our customers.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Be analytical and a problem-solving who can think on your feet. Clean, current driver’s licence.
