Sales – Hardware Mitre 10 MEGA Manukau 

Mitre 10 is New Zealand's leading DIY retailer, and we're proud to continue growing and succeeding. An opportunity is now available for a Sales team member to join our Hardware / Power Garden department at Mitre 10 MEGA Manukau.

If nails, screws, drills, impact drivers, and outdoor power tools are your thing, this could be the role for you. We offer a wide range of tools for DIY customers and an extensive product range for the Trade — and we're looking for someone who is motivated by sales results and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

About the role:* Provide excellent customer service to DIY and Trade customers

• Drive sales by actively engaging customers and recommending the right products
• Maintain high department standards, merchandising, and product availability
• Build strong product knowledge across hardware and power garden ranges
• Work closely with the Retail Leader to achieve sales and store targets

What we're looking for:* A positive, sales-driven attitude

• Passion for customer service excellence
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Willingness to learn and grow product knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous retail experience and/or experience with hardware and power tools (highly regarded)

Hours:This is a 32-hour per week position within a 7-day trade business. Regular hours are:* Wednesday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

• Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Friday: 10:30am – 7:00pm
• Saturday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
