*About the Role

We’re looking for a customer-focused, tech-savvy Photo Lab Technician to join our small, specialised team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine photography skills, digital editing, and retail service to deliver great outcomes for customers.

*What You’ll Be Doing

Working directly with customers – advising, assisting, and delivering great service Printing, scanning, and colour-correcting photos Photo editing (restoration, adjustments, customer requests) Taking and preparing passport/visa photos Processing film and digital jobs Responding to emails, answering calls, and managing social media Pricing jobs and providing simple quotes Keeping the workspace tidy and well-stocked

*What We’re Looking For

Solid understanding of photography (film or digital) Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Canva (essential) Confident with basic computer systems (Outlook, Word, etc.) Friendly, patient, and great with people of all ages Able to multitask and stay organised in a customer-facing environment Retail experience is a bonus, but not essential

Full-time (5 shifts per week, including a weekend day)

Tauranga central location

Must have NZ residency or valid work visa
