About the Role
Planet Vintage is currently in a major growth phase and we’re looking for a sharp, proactive "Digital All-Rounder" to join our team in our warehouse office space in Papamoa. We have been selling vintage online for 5 years and are looking for someone to help manage the digital side of the business as we scale. This role starts at 10-20 hours per week, with a real opportunity to grow in the role for the right person. The Day-to-Day:
- Shopify Management: Accurate listing of 200+ products per drop. You will be the final eyes on meta-fields, descriptions, and tags to ensure every drop is ready to go live. (Training provided).
- Customer Care: Managing emails and social media queries in a professional and friendly tone of voice. Handling returns and ensuring a positive experience for our community.
- Lightroom Editing: Using Adobe Lightroom to edit raw product photos into site-ready assets (Training provided).
- Business Support: General admin, ordering office supplies, and assisting the Directors and team with daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Friendly and Professional: Excellent communication skills and high English comprehension.
- Eye for Detail: You are highly organised and catch the tiny details that others might miss.
- Proactive Initiative: We are a rapidly growing small business. We value someone who takes initiative and looks for ways to improve processes rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Multitasking: The ability to flick between tasks efficiently as needed—there are a lot of moving parts every week.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in macOS and comfortable learning new software quickly.

- Vintage/Resale Obsessed: If you have a background in reselling or simply love the thrill of the secondhand/vintage find, you’ll fit right in.
- Social Media Savvy: Experience with content creation for social media is a plus, as the role may overlap here.
- Small Business Interest: An interest in how small businesses grow and a desire to contribute to that growth.
