Part-Time Assistant – Self Storage Taranaki

Self Storage Taranaki is looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our self storage complex. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, staying organised, and helping keep a site running smoothly.

Position details:

• Location: Self Storage Taranaki
• Hours: Every Thursday, Friday, and every second Saturday morning
• Total: 36 hours per fortnight

Key responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers and assisting with enquiries
• Processing bookings, payments, and general administration
• Showing units to customers and completing move-in paperwork
• Carrying out regular site walk-throughs and security checks
• Helping maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented facility (some heavy lifting)
• Supporting general operational tasks as needed

• Confidence using basic computer systems
• Reliability and the ability to work independently
• A practical, proactive attitude
