We are expanding our Hamilton clinic and are excited to introduce a newFoot Therapistrole. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, high-performance clinical team with structured training and clear progression pathways.
The Role
This is apart-time, hybrid rolecombining clinical support and administrative responsibilities. The position is designed as adevelopment pathway, with structured on-the-job training provided through both Foot Foundation and theAccord Foot Therapist Training Programme.
Training duration typically ranges from1–2 years, depending on prior experience and background. Full support, mentoring, and supervision will be provided throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Foot Therapy Duties
- Assist clinicians with patient care and treatment delivery
- Provide non-complex skin and nail care (following training and competency sign-off)
- Support delivery of:
Cold laser therapy Shockwave therapy Nail restoration (e.g. KeryFlex) Nail bracing (e.g. Onyfix)
- Cold laser therapy

- Nail bracing (e.g. Onyfix)
- Assist with orthotic services, including:
Fitting prefabricated orthotics Manufacturing/modifying orthotic devices
- Fitting prefabricated orthotics
- Manufacturing/modifying orthotic devices
- Perform basic manual therapy techniques (e.g. lower limb massage), where appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with clinic protocols
Sterilisation & Clinical Operations
- Sterilise podiatry instruments in accordance with infection control standards
- Maintain treatment rooms to a high clinical standard
- Monitor and manage clinical stock levels
- Order supplies as required
Administration & Reception Duties
- Patient bookings and scheduling
- Managing phone and email enquiries
- Front-of-house reception and patient interaction
- Supporting day-to-day clinic operations
Scope of Practice & Development
This role is designed togrow with the individual. Scope of practice will expand based on:
- Demonstrated competency
- Completion of training modules
- Areas of personal interest and clinical alignment
There is strong opportunity to develop into afully functioning Foot Therapist with an independent clinical caseloadover time.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- A genuine interest in healthcare, podiatry, or rehabilitation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Willingness to learn and commit to structured training
Preferred (but not essential):
- Experience in healthcare (e.g. Nursing), or beauty industries
- Previous reception or customer service experience
