About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate golfer to join our Hamilton superstore in a permanent part-time position (minimum 20 hours per week).

Key shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (including late nights), with flexibility to cover additional shifts when needed.

This role is suited to a sales superstar who is looking to further grow their retail sales career with the support of a reputable NZ golf business.

This is a hands-on role combininggolf retail saleswith somebar service, where you’ll deliver a premium in-store experience from the moment customers walk through the door.

·       A Golf Coach or NZPGA trainee wanting to align with a leading retail business (with flexibility to coach)

A Bar Manager’s Licence is an advantage. Don’t have one? No problem—we’ll support the right candidate through certification.

What You’ll Do

·       Deliver exceptional customer service in-store (& at the bar when needed)

·       Drive golf retail sales

·       Handle customer enquiries (in-person, phone, email)

·       Support custom fitting and club repairs (training provided)

·       Process online orders and manage stock

·       Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation

·       Assist with basic kitchen duties and uphold hygiene standards

·       Support events such as corporate golf days

·       Represent The Clubroom brand with professionalism on and off the course

What We’re Looking For

·       Passion for golf with golf industry experience ideal (playing and/or selling)

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills

·       Retail or sales experience (preferred)

·       Bar Manager’s Licence (or willingness to obtain)

·       Positive, proactive attitude with strong initiative

·       Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

·       Physically fit (on your feet, lifting up to ~15kg)

·       Reliable, accountable, can-do attitude and a strong team player
