We at New World Waihi have a fantastic opportunity for a Grocery Assistant to join our wonderful Grocery Department.
Job type – Full Time (40 Hours a week)
Duration – Permanent
Great pay rate for the right person.
In this role you will be responsible for making sure our grocery aisles are replenished of stock.
Key responsibilities:
- Filling shelves and display units with merchandise.
- Arranging, repositioning, and tidying shelves and displays.
- Checking best before and expiry dates.
- Keeping store clean and tidy.
- Providing customer support and assistance.
The person we are looking for to join our great team will ideally be:
- Reliable, Dependable.
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy boxes.
- Able to fill and face grocery shelves at reasonable pace with minimum supervision.
- Honest, Trustworthy.
- Capable of working quickly and efficiently.
- Must have supermarket experience stocking shelves.
- Very flexible approach to working hours.
