Assistant Manager

Q2 Foods Ltd trades as K Beez Huntly Ltd and owns and operates a busy convenience store in the Waikato town of Huntly.

We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager to assist the Manager with the day-to-day operations of the business. The pay rate is a competitive $30 per hour and will involve –

• Managing store operations with the focus on driving sales and maximising profit.
• Assisting customers.
• Banking.
• Placing product orders.
• Stocking shelves.
• Collecting stock.
• Managing staff.
• Ensuring store cleanliness and compliance with health & safety.
• Preventive maintenance.

The job will entail a 40-hour week spread across 6 days as the shop is only closed on Sundays. Shop hours are currently 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday.

To be considered for this role you will need at least 12 months of work experience working in retail in management or supervisory positions. Applicants will also have to have a NZ driver licence s collecting stock is part of the role.
