Description

Puffing Kiwi is looking for a full time store manager to drive success to the next level for our Mount wellington or Auckland CBD store.

Puffing Kiwi is a Specialist Vaping Wholesaler and Retailer with a state-of-the-art store design and a great range of vaping products

About the role We are looking for a young, energetic, highly self-motivated and driven by commissions store manager, who will take responsibility for the day to day running of the store and prides themselves on a friendly approachable nature, and a solid focus on customer service, to help make a change to people’s lives and switch them from tobacco to a healthier lifestyle through Vaping or E-cigarettes. This role will suit someone who is looking for that next step in their career from being either an assistant store manager/junior store manager, who has great ideas and wants that opportunity to take ownership and execute them.

Your attributes:

  • Retail management experience required
  • Have a good understanding of how vaping, and vaping hardware works (not essentially but preferred)
  • Experience in a competitive retail environment preferred
  • A friendly and positive team-based attitude
  • A drive to succeed in a very rewarding industry
  • Driven to grow and develop your career

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving store sales targets
  • Providing customer and market feedback and developing strategies to achieve store targets
  • Understand their local competitors and drive sales strategies to gain market share and increase sales
  • Inventory management
  • Management of retail sales assistants to ensure they are hitting their KPI’’s and creating weekly rosters
  • Working in the store to provide sales advice and knowledge to customers and process sales transactions
  • Training of staff
  • Ensuring all marketing and pricing activities are executed correctly and promptly
  • Maintaining stock levels, receipting stock and ensuring stock is properly displayed in store
  • Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the retail store
  • Managing the online store chat and dispatching of goods for both local and overseas customers

This is not a 9 to 5 job it involves taking ownership of the role, and as such you must be available after hours, weekends and public holidays.
