We are looking for full-time & permanent Store Manager.

As a Store Manager you will be responsible for : 1. Effectively manage the overall operations of the Store i.e. The Megha Discounter 2. Lead the team independently and supervise the staff for smooth routine operations of business. 3. Manages the daily operations of The Megha Discounter. 4. Manages and supervises staff, including hiring, rostering, training and performance evaluation 5. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations 6. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations 7. Monitors and analyses sales and financial data 8. Monitor and order stock when required 9. Manages establishment’s finances, including budgeting and financial reporting 10. Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, and negotiates contracts and pricing 11. Implements marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers 12. Resolves customer complaints and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction 13. Strategically plan the growth of business at local level ensuring maximum regular casual customer at the store. 14. Introduce and implement new and innovative ideas to generate revenue. 15. Manage operations with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the Store. 16. Take random customer feedback to assess their satisfaction regarding customer service and use the same for making change in strategy of the business 17. Plan promotions and combos to attract customers as part of marketing 18. Implement new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff. 19. Provide direction to shift leaders and staff to achieve the Store goals. 20. Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement 21. Provide coaching and feedback to staff and assess performance on an ongoing basis 22. Create a positive consumers experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage customers 23. Manage the store to meet or exceed standards in safety and cleanliness. 24. Train and coach staff on customer services principles and practices 25. Follow the store policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety/security 26. Stocktake periodically and to check for difference in physical stock and stock in books. 27. Make policies and checks to minimise stock expiry and wastage and to minimize the difference between physical stock at store and stock in books 28. Plans promotions to minimize stock expiry and wastage.

Requirements:

• Age 18 years or older.
• Qualification i.e. Diploma in Business or two years of work experience
• People personality
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and honest
• Be able to work on weekend and on public holidays
