We're a well-established construction and renovation company based in Wellington, known for delivering high-quality residential and light commercial projects. With a growing pipeline of work, we're looking for a talented and reliable Carpenter to join our friendly, hardworking team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Framing, formwork, cladding, and finishing work
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Working on renovations, new builds, and bespoke projects
- Collaborating with builders, apprentices, and subcontractors
- Ensuring all work meets NZ building standards and health & safety regulations
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in New Zealand
- Trade qualification (NZ Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full NZ driver's licence
- Own tools (preferred but not essential)
