Escallonia Snowbud
Much like the White Profussion also on offer but less...profusion. Perhaps a bit more snow-white and perhaps more emphasis on the buds than the open blooms. We'll have to grow some more and consider the comparison. The other key difference is the consensus that Snowbud grows a little taller at 2.5m.
It's another lovely, bushy, low maintenance green shrub
Hardy. Suitable for hedge or single bush. In ground or grow in a garden pot.
Rather than buxus go for this- it's not as prone to getting sick.
A profusion of white flowers in late spring to early autumn
Frost hardy and pretty tolerant to most conditions, including wind
Evergreen and fragrant
Grows 2.5 tall, 2m wide
Currently growing in 5cm pots (with hand in pic for scale) with beautiful root systems.
