Magic Carpet Spirea

Compact, dense shrub renowned for its striking seasonal color changes.

In spring, its young shoots emerge bright red, evolving to orange and yellow-green before turning a rich red-orange in autumn. Shrub features oval, deciduous leaves with serrated edges that shift from golden in full sunlight to greenish-gold in partial shade, and bright green in full shade.

Bright-pink flowers that lighten as they mature, blooming from spring through summer. It re-blooms if deadheaded, extending its floral display. Versatile in landscaping, it suits masses, borders, walkways, or as a solitary specimen.

Adaptable to full sun to partial shade, it is drought-tolerant, salt-tolerant, and resistant to deer. Additionally, it attracts bees and butterflies, making it a practical and attractive choice for diverse garden settings.
