Two matching plaque type fixtures. Possibly door plaques? I have no idea. But would say they are most likely quite rare.

My guess is bronze but possibly brass.

From research they are most likely referring to George Rex V. Or Georgius Rex. Latin for King George.

I purchased these at an auction years ago when the Hyde Park Museum closed down.

I haven't cleaned these up apart from a light rub to show initials better. Otherwise they have the original patina.
