Vintage Toy Town Van Truck – Marx Toys England – With Box

Original 1950s Toy Town Express Van Lines tinplate truck by Louis Marx & Co. (England). Bright lithographed colours – silver cab, red wheels, and blue/cream van body – with “Deluxe Service” artwork on both sides.

Comes with its original illustrated box, with some tips and showing age wear but still displayable. Truck itself is in very good vintage condition with only light scuffing.

Hey guy's. So the truck looks like a plastic cab and chassis with a tin box van and tin wheels. Correct ?. Can you give me a length measure , and has the box got an inner cardboard tray, or has it got end flaps, and if so are they all present. I’ll be back in Auckland in the weekend and can do the measure for you. From memory the truck has a plastic front and the cab is made of tin. I think the wheels are rubber, but I’ll look and post for you on my return. The box does not have an inner carton and is not in good shape. When I bought it (about 30 years ago the box was in a plastic bag with it. I had the truck on display but had just put the box away.
