Description
Rare antique coal fire flat iron. Cast-iron chicken finial on the top. The chicken is the locking mechanism for the top of the iron. The ‘handle’ was just a piece of wood screwed in place and was removed to leave looking slightly less ugly! Did I mention the rust?? Have a look at photos. Measures approx. 8½''L x 6¾''L x 4''W.
