2 x vintage (party line) phones

Bought from an antique store approx 10 years ago. Was told at the time the phones could still be made to hook up too together to communicate, but we never got around to trying.

Label on the back of one reads 'PWB 43735'.

Not sure if that last photo goes with them or not, but just found.

Heavy - each phone weighs 2.8kg. Bakelite Crank Handle

Have tried to research and think may be the series 300 Magneto phones released in 1945?

Labels read: 'To call: turn handle and lift handset. When finished replace handset and turn handle.'
