Description

Born in Ashburton in 1937 Robert McDowell studied at Canterbury and Otago Universities. A graphic designer and painter, he has painted professionally since 1972. He has won numerous awards, and his artworks reside in both public and private collections. The above oil on board depicts The Church of the Good Sheperd, Lake Tekapo after a heavy snowfall in the Mackenzie Basin. Signed and dated ’71. The artwork is framed in its original 1970s era frame.

Condition Very good. Some minor wear to frame edges.
