Description
This sweet little print was assessed at one point to be circa 1875, so it's 150 years old this year perhaps.
It's a hand coloured wood engraving print of Lincoln in England, with presumably Lincoln Cathedral in the background with a country river scene in the front.
It has a sticker saying 'this printing is guaranteed to be more than 100 years old' on it.
Condition does have some foxing on it, see photo. There is no sign of light damage or fading. Comes in a cream surround which is in excellent condition. Note that the other side of the print is text about the history of Lincoln Cathedral, and the print appears to have been originally cut out of a book perhaps.
Dimensions: the print itself is 12.5cm by 9.5cm, the piece of paper it's on is 12cm x 16.5cm. It is paper taped onto the surround which is 18cm x 21cm.
